Deborah is an avid horsewoman who is dedicated to providing the best for her equine companions.
Deborah’s love for horses began when she was a young woman. Her knowledge and dedication towards these wonderful animals progressed at an accelerated pace. After relocating to Oregon from Idaho, Deborah started a successful riding school where her center of attention focused on developing well-rounded riders with and understanding of all the aspects of horsemanship. Additionally, for many years Deborah was a 4-H leader and Oregon High School Equestrian Team (OHSET) coach. Deborah has mentored many successful 4-H and OHSET riders, all of whom are her pride and joy!
Today Deborah spends her riding time focusing on her AQHA mare, Bella, training for extreme trail, cowboy & western dressage competitions.
Deborah’s study of equine massage began years ago when she took an interest in caring for rehabilitating horses including her own mare Shabina.
In her “spare” time Deborah enjoys practicing agility with her rescue dog, Levi and spending time with her husband Bill. She and her husband reside in Wilsonville, Oregon, where they are lucky enough to be surrounded by their three children, granddaughter and son-in-law.
As a horse owner and rider, Deborah is committed to her personal growth and continuing education as an equine therapist and to enhancing the health and quality of life for horses. She takes great pride in her work and strives to provide the very best service for her clients.
